Wedding tips for a student budget

Do you want to get married while still a student but worried about added budget woes? Here are some tips from other students on the subject of throwing a wedding on a tight budget.

·   Have a friend take pictures

·   Make your own wedding cake

·   Have a new band that simply wants the publicity and experience do music for free

·   Newport Beach is a free venue for the ceremony

·   Find friends with large backyards for receptions

·   Alter a family wedding dress

·   Rent a wedding dress

·   Inherit a wedding ring from a deceased or divorced friend or family

·   Make your own centerpieces

·   Less is more, simplicity is a style

·   Use flowers in season

·   Have a friend do hair and make-up

·   Make mixed CDs instead of hiring a DJ

·   Keep the guest list low in numbers

·   Provide appetizers instead of a meal

·   Hand decorate and deliver invitations if possible
